A Day with Sky Bright and Breeze soft,Jardin Du Luxembourg,Paris,France.

It's of importance for the residents of cities to have a large space to breathe and mobile freely, and spend casually in leisure time.
Apparently, there's no 2nd alternative from public parks to have this function.
And it is not an easy goal to reach on expensive municipal land for most countries in the world. It's not common at all to have a huge park space like the Central Park in New York.

Parks in Paris are not as large as New York's Central Park, but they offer a different motif from history and unique signatures that shape their appearances.
Some of them belong to one of the department of a museum, like the well-known Garden of Tuileries by Louvre Museum,so is Jardin Du Luxembourg to Palace of Luxembourg.

If you were awed by those 24 gigantic paintings exhibiting at the Louvre Museum, with the theme of "The proxy wedding of Marie de Medici and king Henry IV",you might strike with the idea of the location of their wedding site, which refers to Palace of Luxembourg. However,it was not built for their wedding.Actually,it was built after the wedding, started in 1612.

Now the palace has turned into the Senate House, and a museum was set up attached to it.Diverse activities are also held at the garden from time to time, including relevant activities of Olympic Games in 1990.
I think the way of running a public park like this is what Kaohsiung Municipal government short of.
A public occasion like a park should be able to hold all kinds of movements for the public,so that it would bring in economic effect and other relevant benefits to the local communities.
It's a pity that a pretty place like "Chuong Du Wetland" can't be used to its full like Park Luxemburg, but being a beautiful empty shell. In addition to this point,it will be even better by expanse to twice of its area.

It's unlike other parks in Paris,Park Luxemburg is extremely close to civilians' daily life.Everyone who lives nearby would come almost everyday to do some exercises, take a walk, rest, read some books,be dull while sitting on a bench, get some suntan, spend some time with your romance. The homeless people are also welcome, too.(haha)

There are about 80 statues made by prestiged sculptors, set in the garden for people who are interested in searching for them for fun.A cafe shop,a children's playground, and there is a man,who sells home-made sailboat toys about the large pool, where's in front of the Senate House. However,I think that man has been selling his toys for years in here.

The gargen plantation isn't made by casual mind.It was designed with a most spetacular man-made forest. The management trims the tall trees of 3 or 4 story-high to be huge squares for the park boulevards of the promenade. They look so magnificent in visual effect when setting glances far to the horizon, and are so cope with the sight of Palace buildings in the opposite,so paralelled in atmostphere to each other.

The management also plant flowers in certain corners or turns along the trails, which transforms to a little masterpiece of decoration(a sign that this place is under well-managed.)

The ground has been tidied up.It's not paved with asphalts like ours, but little gravels on the yellow dirt roads. What makes it so different from ours is the sitting devises.Except from the benches, there are numerous foldable steel chairs, that are portable for visitors to move around.Visitors can move the chairs to anywhere they'd like to sit.I haven't seen anyone who stole it yet.
We have fixed benches, but we don't place steel chairs at gardens or parks.(I think we don't even place gabage bins at parks either...God.)

It always strikes me that the working hours in France is so delicious, lol, when seeing a lot of people hanging here without things or jobs to do.Well,it seemed so.
I even saw some visitors came with their luggages,I guessed they hadn't yet checked in their hotels or anywhere.
Anyway, the park is free for everyone. So next time,if there's no particular schedule to run,it'll be not a bad thing to spend some time here, like a local did.
